European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) is the organiser and promoter of both the Heineken Champions Cup and the European Challenge Cup – two of the most prestigious and competitive club rugby competitions in the world.  Rocket Sports has joined their select roster of agency support in the search of new partners for these two iconic tournaments.

Each year, 40 of the world’s best rugby clubs compete across Europe in 134 matches over eight months battling to take home the legendary trophies.  The biggest names in the international game come together, competing for their clubs in matches of Test Match intensity. Titans of the sport, including Owen Farrell, Faf de Klerk, Alun Wyn Jones, Jerome Kaino and George North attract some of the biggest broadcasters in the world with BT Sport, beIN SPORTS, France Télévision, Channel 4, Virgin Media and NBC Sports taking the action to fans across the world.

The Heineken Champions Cup is often compared to the Champions League of the rugby world, acknowledged globally as the ‘One to Win’ in the club game. The popularity of the competitions is self-evident with more than 1.5 million match attendees and a global broadcast audience of 38.8 million over 174 broadcast territories worldwide.

The organiser behind the tournaments is European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) whose mission is to create outstanding rugby experiences for all key stakeholders, including leagues, clubs, players, match officials, unions, fans, broadcast and commercial partners, communities and the media.

The Heineken Champions Cup is celebrating 25 years as the ultimate club rugby trophy and is on the hunt for supporting sponsors. Focus for the European Challenge Cup is on securing a title partner.
