Marc Hope joins Rocket Sports to lead rights marketing division

Today we are delighted to announce that we have expanded our management team with the appointment of Marc Hope as its Director of Rights Marketing. 

Marc joins Rocket Sports at an exciting time for the agency which specialises in both athlete management and sponsorship, working on behalf of rights holders and athletes to shape brand partnerships with purpose and authenticity.

Rocket Sports represents several Olympic athletes including Britain’s most successful male and female Olympians, Jason and Laura Kenny, Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas, mountain bike rider Evie Richards as well as British number three tennis player, Harriet Dart. Earlier this month, the agency also announced the signing of World Champion gymnast, Joe Fraser. 

The appointment of this new role comes alongside the announcement that Rocket Sports has been retained by the nationwide swimming fundraiser, Swimathon to secure new sponsors for their various swimming events including School Swimathon, Open Water Swimathon and their headline Swimathon event which sees 20,000 participants in 600 communities taking part.  

Throughout his career, Marc has worked for respected sports businesses that include The Sports Consultancy, SMAM and FastTrack (CSM) on major sporting properties such as The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, British Athletics, and The London 2017 IAAF and IPC World Championships. In addition to his role at Rocket Sports, Marc will continue to fulfil his consultancy work for the event agency, Limelight.
